I write, direct and produce emotionally engaging AI-animated films for churches, families, creators and brands—from Bible stories and original dramas to personalised celebration videos.
I'm Joy, an Ireland-based AI filmmaker and storyteller. Before this, I spent years in teaching and school leadership. I hold a Master's degree in Sustainable Development, which influences how I think about people, communities and meaningful storytelling.
My process is AI-assisted, not AI-only. I write the story, direct the creative choices, develop the characters, and review and edit every scene myself until it holds together. The tools help me produce the work faster. The judgment and the final say are mine.
A sample of finished films and commissions, some self-directed, some made for paying clients.
From Bible stories and church productions to personalised celebration videos and short-form content, all written, directed and produced through an AI-assisted process.
Bible stories, faith-based films, original dramas, church productions and story-led brand films. Character-led stories, written and directed from script to screen.

One of the hardest parts of AI animation is keeping a character looking like themselves from one scene to the next.
I build a visual reference for each main character before production starts, and use it to guide every scene so the character stays recognisable through the film.
AI-assisted animation is still developing technology, so small inconsistencies can happen. I review and correct what I can during editing, and I'm upfront about that rather than promising perfect consistency every time.
Tell me what you're celebrating or producing, who it's for, and any details that make it personal.
I'll come back with a creative direction for your project and a quotation, before anything is booked.
Once you're happy, we lock in the story and how your characters will look and stay consistent.
I write, animate and review the film scene by scene, checking it against the agreed direction.

It depends on the project. I generally work in four formats: a Personalised Mini Video (30–60 seconds), a Celebration Story (1–3 minutes), a Premium Animated Film (3–5 minutes), and Church, Brand or Long-Form Productions at a custom duration. We'll agree the right length for your project at the quotation stage.
Production time depends on the length and complexity of the project. This will be confirmed as part of your quotation.
Usually names, key dates, the story or message you want told, and any photos or reference details for the people or characters involved. I'll ask for anything specific once I understand your project.
Yes. I build a visual reference for each character to keep facial features, age, hairstyle and clothing consistent across the film. AI-assisted animation isn't perfect, so small inconsistencies can happen, but I review and correct what I can during editing.
Voice-over can be part of a project depending on what it needs. We'll discuss this and confirm it in your quotation.
Music and sound are discussed per project and confirmed in your quotation.
Revisions are confirmed as part of your quotation for each project.
Usage rights depend on how the video will be used, personal, church or ministry, or commercial, and are confirmed as part of your quotation.
Yes. Church, brand and long-form productions are one of my main services, alongside personalised celebration videos. Custom duration and scope, confirmed in your quotation.
I review every scene during editing and correct what I can. Because this is AI-assisted production, I aim for strong consistency rather than promising perfect results every time, and I'm upfront about that from the start.
Tell me about your project and I'll come back to you with a creative proposal and a quotation.
I will review it and respond within 1–2 business days.
